I have this odd obsession with watching movies/TvShows and reading books that are centered around slavery. I think it stems from wanting to learn more about my culture, community, and the current state of the black community in present day society. This year we were introduced to the ground breaking show UNDERGROUND which premiered on WGN and was an instant success. One of the reasons it hit big was because it did not focus on the average slave story line but went into detail about the love life of the slaves and slave owners. We got to see a side of slavery that was somewhat foreign to us.
UNDERGROUND is set to return for (season2) March 8, 2017.
I can not wait to go on the run with Harriet Tubman. Yes you read that right. Season 2 will feature the legendary O-G aka Moses aka Harriet Tubman aka Araminta Ross. Actress Aisha Hinds will play Harriet 
I’m excited to hear the music selected for this season, that was one of the things I love the most about the show. I am so ready for march to get here…. last season let me hanging and wanting more.
