The most decorated woman in U.S Track and Field history “Allyson Felix” enters the motherhood club

Motherhood is one of the most beautiful experiences that any woman will ever endure. Balancing wanting to bring a child into this world and being a world class athlete can be tough to balance but many women such as American tennis star Serena Williams, British runner Paula Radcliffe, American swimmer Dara Torres, and British heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill have all managed to do so while in the middle of successful sporting careers. The key to the balance is trying to find the perfect time regarding personal lives and professional careers and for many athletes that can be centered around the Olympic Years.

One of USA’s Track and Field Golden Girls, Allyson Felix, has recently joined the ranks of Mother/Athlete. On November 28, 2018 at 5:28pm Allyson gave birth to her daughter Camryn Grace Ferguson and became a first time mom.

Allyson introduced the world to her daughter on December 20, 2018 by doing an exclusive interview with ESPN. She kept her pregnancy for the most part a secret and was planning on revealing that she was expecting sometime in her third trimester but through circumstances unplanned she ended up giving birth to Camryn at 32 weeks. It is exciting to know that along with other phenomenal athletes Allyson can now add mother to her world class resume.

Congratulations Allyson on the birth of your daughter Camryn she’s beautiful, you’re beautiful, and your journey together will be beautiful. Good luck on returning back to the track I can’t wait to see you back in your element blasting out the starting blocks and sprinting across the finish line.

Additionally, through hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport of Track and Field Allyson has claimed the titled of most decorated woman in U.S Track and Field history by earning 9 Olympics medals and 16 IAAF World Championship medals.

Remember To Always Be

Fierce and Fabulous
