As of November 16, 2017 Serena Williams is officially a married woman. Serena and Alexis Ohanian held their wedding in the good ole city of New Orleans in front of a crowd of star studded celebrities. Being that Serena can sometimes be a kid at heart the theme of her wedding was fairytale with a slight focus on “Beauty and the Beast”. Serena wore a beautiful Alexander McQueen white ball gown that gave off princess vibes. Serena talked about it not being the type of gown that she original saw herself getting married in but when she saw it she fell in love.
The couple’s first dance was to the song “Tale as old as time” which we all originally heard featured on the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack. Additionally the wedding guest were treated to a performance by New Edition and were also allotted the opportunity to enjoy a carousel ride courtesy of the Groom as a surprise for his Bride.
