On February 12, 2017 the Beyhive and Beyonce were all shook when once again for the third time she was snubbed for Album of the year at the Grammy’s. ( THAT’S ANOTHER BLOG) but after the Grammys once again told Beyonce she was not good enough a new song entitled “SHINING” was released which features Beyonce, JayZ, and producer DJ Khaled with his infamous WE THE BEST quotes.

The album cover features an adorable picture of DJ Khaled’s son Asahd who Khaled states is the executive producer of the song. Now I do not know about yall, but I do not know how an infant is considered an executive producer. I wonder did DJ Khaled just let little Asahd just push some buttons in the studio. SHINING is the first single off of DJ Khaled’s 10th studio album entitled “GRATEFUL” . So the song is DJ Khaled featuring Beyonce and JayZ but how is it not them featuring him and they are the vocals on 98 percent of the song.

The content of the song highlights that through it all Beyonce is still SHINING and winning. She sings about being in the game since 1997 and the fact that no one can hold me back which brings attention to Beyonce being the type of woman you can not predict and can not contain. She also sings about how money does not make her happy with the hint of living and loving life being her true source of happiness.

JayZ raps about the twins and how he desires a son. He also brags about his well deserved 21 Grammys.

Overall the song is upbeat and I’m here for it. It’s just what we needed to lift our spirits after the Grammys and their bullcrap voting once again screwed Beyonce over. Check out the song below.
