The CMAs almost gave the Beyhive a heart attack last night. The #Beyhive does not give 2 cents about the Country Music Awards but when the Queen is set to grace the stage oh you best believe the Beyhive will show her support. It was originally announced the Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks were opening the CMAs but in order to maintain viewers aka Beyonce’s viewers the CMAs put her performance 3/4 through the show and decided to torture the #Beyhive by making them sit through the other less entertaining performances at the CMAs.
Upon it being announced that Beyonce was performing, the haters were out and about. Apparently so called true country music fans were pissed about her performing a COUNTRY song at the COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS but through it all Beyonce dominated and slayed.
So the Beyonce’s performance starts and I’m more nervous than I usually am, because first of all I am trying to prepare for the slayage and 2 Beyonce is performing for a white audience who’s fans are pissed that #BlackGirlMagic is seeping into their world. Upon seeing Bey’s silhouette my heart rate increased because I immediately saw that she was not in one her legendary leotards but instead in a bomb gown with the curves on display. She nailed the performance, sprinkled some COUNTRY SOUL onto the CMA stage and looked amazing doing so and it was so obvious that she was holding back and trying not to out shine the dixie chicks.
At the start of the second verse, Beyonce throws up the third ward sign, because yes even at the CMAs homegirl is going to represent her hood. The musicians playing the instruments killed in and the Mama’s in the background topped off an amazing performance.
Now here’s where the drama comes in, apparently CMAs has removed all evidence of Beyonce and her performance from their website and social media accounts. They even went as far as to delete tweets posted about her upcoming performance. So let me get this straight, the CMAs receive the highest viewing rating that it has ever gotten solely because of the fact that Beyonce performed and these people have the audacity to act like she was not a part of this big night. Are you serious? All because some racist fans are somewhat butt hurt. It’s all good, because Beyonce was on that stage and she reminded your so call fan base just where country music originated from and just know that if a soulful artist wanted to take over it can be done. Continue to hate because in the end you just contribute to make Beyonce great
